Who Am I?

I'm Dave of course! And no surprise with the number of military weddings I've covered, A former Bootneck (Marine). My partner in crime is "Mary" and my 2nd photographer.

No wedding industry's perception of value here. My efforts go into achieving fantastic images that are fun, relaxed and real. Getting to know couples and being there for them before, during and after their wedding even if it's not photography related.

I lead by example. I want you to be comfortable and not worry about having your photo taken. If you're looking for a genuine chilled out photographer that can even get old uncle Bob that hasn't smiled for 20 years to crack a grin, I'm your guy!

My Style

I'm all over the place like a pixie for hours on end. I call it "Dave photographer mode".

Though I know when to be that fly or pixie on the wall shooting candid and when to dive headfirst into the dance floor. Great at reading the room, I don't just shoot people; I shoot them equipped with the state-of-the-art Dave's internal radar 2000. It's always figuring out the banter & social gauge to get the very best out of everyone at your wedding!

I'm kind and helpful with the oldies.

I mess about and encourage the kids to have fun.

I'm not always your shadow and know when to give you both space as I capture your nearest and besties.

And I really don’t make much fuss over getting those beautiful portraits of you both.

As an experienced wedding celebrant, I’ve crossed paths with many photographers. Some good, some great, some not quite so great. When it came to my own wedding I knew exactly what I was looking for and as soon as I saw Dave’s work, I just knew it had to be him.

He has a natural talent for capturing candid moments and picking the perfect scene. We couldn’t be happier with our photos - they are well framed, colourful and full of fun. Picking our photographer was something we struggled with but having come across Dave’s website (thanks Facebook ads) we knew he was the right choice for us. The initial call, to the pre-meet to the wedding day - Dave (and Mary!) were fantastic. It was an easy pick once we’d found him.
